New Shopping.com Partner Network Website and Blog

Shopping.com has launched a new Partner Network website to create a two-way forum for open communication with developers, partners and folks interested in the evolution and growth of product commerce. Developers can choose to implement our Shop Widgets or the Shopping.com XML API.

The website will introduce a forum for discussion topics of the community’s choice and offer information to help partners better understand how the Shopping.com tools work. On the Partner Network Blog, Shopping.com will cover topics such as product announcements, API release notes, examples of partner API implementations and much more.

As of Q3 2007, Shopping.com has also announced plans for a re-architected API that will be available which will have a new easy-to-use interface, detailed documentation and tools for faster implementations.  Like the current API, it will be fully open, robust and flexible allowing developers and partners to realize a new revenue stream and improve their buyer experiences by recreating a portion of Shopping.com’s comparison shopping experience within their own sites.
