eBay Express Shopping Cart APIs

As of mid-January and as announced at the eBay Developers Conference in June 2006, developers building applications using eBay Web Services APIs should be aware of the eBay Express Shopping Cart APIs ready for US eBay Express. Two new API calls have been introduced as part of this project, namely GetCart and SetCart, which enable you to create and update the contents of a shopping cart containing eBay Express items. These calls are also affiliate-enabled.

Developer Impact: Developers can use the new shopping cart APIs i.e., GetCart and SetCart to provide eBay Express shopping cart functionality off eBay and redirect to eBay at checkout time. All international sites where Express is enabled will have this functionality available as of late January.
