Farewell from Greg Isaacs

Dear eBay Developers,

After 5-1/2 amazing years, I have made the difficult decision to leave eBay. Working at eBay has been my most rewarding professional experience largely because of you. You are some of the smartest and most entrepreneurial people I’ve ever met. Every day I came to work I felt like we were blazing new trails, which made my decision to leave that much more difficult. However, I am a firm believer that new challenges and experiences are a good thing. I will be providing more details on my blog in the upcoming weeks about my future plans, so please stay tuned.

With you, we’ve built a very successful eBay Developers Program that continues to make a positive impact on the rest of the eBay Community. eBay has an exceptionally talented and dedicated Developers Program team, with whom I’ve been working for the past several years, that will continue to build upon the program and work hard to ensure your success. Adam Trachtenberg, who has been leading our Evangelism, Community & Product efforts and Rob Cross, who runs our Market Development and Certified Provider Program, will be leading this team after my departure. Adam and Rob have been key to the program’s growth and success to date, and I’m confident that under their leadership the eBay Developers Program will continue to do great things.

It has been my privilege to work with you, and I look forward to future adventures together.

Sincerely,

Greg Isaacs
