Announcing PlaceOffer

PlaceOffer is a new API call within eBay Web Services.

The call enables bidding on eBay via the API.  To date, only finding, not bidding was available via the API.  With PlaceOffer, developers will be able to create richer, more complete shopping experiences for buyers.

This is a restricted call, requiring an additional agreement, and available only to developers who apply and are approved to use it.  There are also restrictions on the use of PlaceOffer, including no scheduled bidding.
